So we are going to analyze 6 of the best Olympic logos (in my conception) and compare them through the ages. Roman numbers and the use of the five rings superimposed on London\u2019s Parliament building brings a serious and political feeling. But all this characteristics doesn\u2019t make it a bad logo, just old-fashioned (now).<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><b>London \u2013 2012<\/b><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-1224\" src=\"http:\/\/blog.onlinelogomaker.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/08\/olimpiada-londres-2012-e1470863622136.jpg\" alt=\"olimpiada-londres-2012-logo-olympic\" width=\"544\" height=\"613\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.onlinelogomaker.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/08\/olimpiada-londres-2012-e1470863622136.jpg 708w, https:\/\/www.onlinelogomaker.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/08\/olimpiada-londres-2012-e1470863622136-266x300.jpg 266w, https:\/\/www.onlinelogomaker.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/08\/olimpiada-londres-2012-e1470863622136-600x676.jpg 600w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 544px) 100vw, 544px\"><\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Wow! What a nice comparison! From 1948, with a traditional, black and white, serious logo to a fun, modern and colored design. For me, they really got out of the box using 2012 to elaborate a nice, different logo format in comparison to others, but this was a controversial logo. The lines spell out \u2018Mexico\u2019 and \u201868\u2019 with the Olympic rings woven in. So beautiful. And even better, using minimal symbols and very effective graphical design. The red circle is not only the symbol of the country, but is also a great focal point. Absolutely clever idea to use this gradient technique. It gives a very cool effect to the logo, making it more real\u00a0the sun rising\u00a0visual.<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><b>Rio \u2013 2016<\/b><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter wp-image-1227\" src=\"http:\/\/blog.onlinelogomaker.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/08\/olimpiada-rio-2016-794x1024.jpg\" alt=\"olimpiada-rio-2016-logo-olympic\" width=\"522\" height=\"673\"><\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">This year\u2019s Olympic logo shows people jubilantly joining hands, while the colour scheme reflects Rio\u2019s environment. So we got <em>yellow<\/em> that symbolises the sun;\u00a0<em>blue<\/em> connecting to the sea and <em>green<\/em> showing off the forests.
